Catapult plane thrust

Here is my catapult plane exploring thrust. We used different planes and different rubber bands. We had to try them and we had to put the results. We had to record were our planes where they landed and put where they landed into our sheets. We had to use different planes and see what they were like my planes were weird because you had to pull them back at different lengths and see how far they go measure how far they go and record how far they went. STAY SAFE EVERYONE.

  1. Great observations Ambar! I wonder why the fatter rubber band doesn't go as far as the thinner one? Is that because of it not being as stretchy I wonder? Your graph looks how I would expect - going up in a straight line steadily. Well done! I like how you have included the air into the reason why it might fly or not! Great work this week! 👑

  2. Awesome work on this project Ambar! You have identified quite a lot of factors involved in flight, and used your observations to make some judgements about what you noticed. Well done!
