Museum Trip

Today we went to the museum and had a great time first we went in and had a seat. we looked around for the stuff we had on our clipboard and on that clipboard, there was stuff that we needed to find around all of the rooms. we found them and came to sit back down we learned the name of some things that they use to have back in the olden days.

Then we went to go have a look at the star dome that was sooooooooooooooo cool I could not get over it in it we watched two movies and got asked some questions well the lady Maddie had a mic on her then we got to the stars she told as about the stars and told us that that's in the Uk right now we saw Matariki.

We got to have a walk to somewhere in the museum and I went to the first place that stood out to me was one of the sliding doors I went in with a friend and then we heard creepy music and there were some really great things about it so it went and had a look around. then I went to go check out some rocks and other things they were just amazing.

We got to make wakas they were amazing well my one was I don't know about the others because I did not see some of them they might be good hope they will be. We had to make them our selves and we had to make the sails first and draw on them to make them cool then we had to colour them in then we got string and wood that had holes in them because we needed the sails to stay on we also got some bamboo stick and were using those's we had to poke holes through the sails and then poke them into the wood. We had some cardboard for the seat of it and tie some more string around that. she said we could try a float test bak at school or at home.

She said that we could go downstairs and go have a look but had to be in a partner or a group or there or four I went with a buddy first we went downstairs and saw a part of a waka we went and went to see captain cook cabin then me and bubby went to upstairs and saw the view but then we did not want to leave any way we left and it was raining.

Here is my term four 2020 math gird results I am trying to get better at a time trying to get faster and trying to beat Mrs hall there has been a few times that I have beaten her or 2 seconds behind but i have beat her twice to show her that I did do it I want harder ones and change the top numbers because people are looking at there answers 

Enviro School Trip

This morning we went to enviro schools which meant we went to go see different things about rubbish and how we could reuse things and how much plastic we are putting in the ground and sea because something's you can not recycle and some things you can.

When we lined up we got this thing to put around our neck it was an atua One of them The introduced us to some new atua. They showed us some photos and they look really cool that would design so well I loved them.

We had some carrots we had other things and also we looked at this sign That said bees and they had a beehive our next Rotation was Lunch boxes and how much rubbish we actually put into our lunch boxes and we had to see who had the most My group didn't but my group had the second amount of rubbish the lunch box. Some did not have rubbish and some did.  

Next, we went to the beeswax rappers And we had to be very careful because we were using an ion Play grated some bees wet up and we had to put it on a Peace of fabric Then we had to put another sheet over the top of it and start ironing we when with somebody's because there wasn't enough beeswax fabric I chose a bird one with a partner And then we got to do another word we took turns.

Next, we went to see if we could produce anything from the garden and we put on some wigs and they look kind of funny my reason was because I'm oldest and why not be a captain And we call the say how we could reduce and reuse.

We came back in and we saw these lights And I can just go for it was like we're having a disco and we will go out and help take on the bus and he came to school the end.

here is my term three-goal I am talking about what the goals are and what was n my holidays the Q is about our garden that we are going to have outside our school by tawhirimatea class.i had a very nice holiday and my cousin came down witch was very nice and their flight got delayed and they had to stay or another night and it was their dad's mums birthday and on that day they were doing something special.my holidays was very lovely to see my blood cousins that I have not seen me in a long time.

Here is my group's rocket launch slide and at the last slide is our report about the rocket lab in Mahia.there is our video of our rocket blazing off on a sunny day our rocket went the highest because I made the rocket. Our group is called High Rockets and it fits greatly with the video.

This is my art. Our class had to do this art because our name for our class is Tawhirimatea and my photo is the wind.there is four winds and we all drew one of them but we had to draw one that was Tawhirimatea.

Here is my Rocket 3 for the website I did not post it in lockdown because I forgot. I really liked putting all of those things together. we liked doing thing and we want to do more our class loves it because it keeps as busy than broad.here are the slides.

Rocket desing.

My rocket design the designer made for my group and that designer was me because I came up with the best ideas for the group my group was behind so I told them to do some blog posts. Our rocket is designed to be Aerodynamic so I built it and spray paint it and now it looks great. I made it  Aerodynamic because it will fly better and I will go far. the nose it pointy it was so hard to make.

Safety Poster.

Here is my safety poster that my group made will I made most of it. So with TED.lab going on, we had to make safety posters because we like to be safe and not hurting anybody. We like to launch rockets and make them so we can test them. TED lab stands for Tawhirimatea Engineering Desing lab we like to do stuff and make stuff for this lab.

Flying Kites

Here is my kites work that we had over lockdown I forgot to post on my blog. I really like doing this because we get to make stuff and fly it than just getting board. We had this to do over lockdown because we could not come to school It was really fun and cool.

Snake Report.

Here is my snake report that Mrs. Mill one of our teachers gave us this work over lockdown it is a story about snakes and tigers. you can choose snakes or tigers but I chose snake why because I know more about than I do at tigers I don't like a snake but I have learned so much about them over reading and stroys and reading books and writing. I love snake but not when they bite people.

This is my Business card for my ground on the top I named our group High Rockets. In my group, there was Me of course and my jobs were health and safety officer and Designer because I am really good at designing because it designed our Rocket and really good at keeping people safe. The other people in my group are Christibel she is a Test pilot and an Environmental scientist. William is a Mancacal engineer.   Kane is a Misson control 1 other thing that I forgot.

Declan is a chemist and 1 other thing. The main officers are Health and safety advisors and 2 other ones that goes near the rocket but not too near. This blog post would never be up but thanks to Mrs. Hall.

Beach Clean Up On Saturdays.

On Saturday Me, Uncle, Nan, Sister, Brother went to the beach to do an amazing sweep on the beach to pick up all of the rubbish and some Shells for making flowers with sticks. My uncle had to go on the pathway and met up and Captain Morgans. We parked at the red brick. So we went down and my Nan, Brother, and Sister went down by the water and it was low tide so that makes it easier to find rubbish and shells. I walk up near the walkway because it has the most rubbish when I was walking down there I saw a little bit of rubbish and I collected a giant amount of shells and rubbish and when I was picking up rubbish and shells I was thinking about the take 3 song and I was like yes I have an answer for you and yes I will take 3 and many more rubbish. It was starting to get heavy but I knew I had to keep going, by the way, I pick up too many shells. And then took some photos and dump them in the rubbish bin they were in the right place and we had to sort them out because they were different kinds of rubbish. Then I washed my hand because I was picking up sooooo much rubbish then went to play on the playground too have a bit of fun. Then I went back and my Baby Brother was so tired when he got home he went to sleep. Here are some photos and some photos of the shells.

Mrs Mill our lovey teacher gave a this hippos reading in lockdown and some people did it and some people did not and we had to do something with hippos. we had to do some reading with hippos and we had to read it in the slide get facts and reuse the words that were in the stroy

Maths gird results term 2 2020

I love doing maths gird I am good at doing my 7 and down time tables and sometimes good at my 8 and up to 12. I am getting better and better at my time table because I have been doing it 2 times a week.

What Is Voki?

Here is my voki click here to see: On Tuesday my teacher Mrs. Hall the best teacher in the world found this thing called voki and she had a look at it and she thought that would be an amazing app to use for my class. This is what voki is voki is about something you do when you have no work or just want to have fun even just work. Eney way our class had to make something on topic that was about aliens and trash and the earth and how the earth needs to be saved but you need to stop. We had to make it say something that related to trash to stop people from being nasty and throwing trash out of the side of the road. So with all our thinking from our brains, we finally got what we were working on for a day and what we did was pretty cool. Thanks, Mrs. Hall.

Fluffy and Wasliy

On Tuesday we had to make a robot that did or did not work.so here's what my robot looks like I made it out of two zebras and tinfoil when my mum saw it she thought it was funny and stupid and not as a robot but I did well my first idea was wrap myself in tinfoil and put a bag over my head but I did not go to plan so I found those and yup you guess it made them a robot I was kind of funny.
