Today i did a story called little bird and the story was about this boy was sweeping up purple leafs and saw a baby bird and that baby bird was cold, he saw a nest but it was empty.. We had to do a writing quiz and a question quiz, i got 100% on first go on the questions quiz and on the writing quiz i got 10% but i did it again and got 80%.

Daffodil Day

Day 9 of lockdown, Daffodil Day it is a day where we remember people that have past away from Cancer and when we fundfaise for people who have cancer and cant afford the money and treatment that they need, heres a famos quote that Daffodil day has set us, Cancer Will Never Stop, So We Won't. I think thats a pretty amazing quote. Daffodil day is a day where people where flowers yellow flowers so if they have one on they have paid $2 for one and thats helps one bit for people, even cents,paper money it helps for the people who can't pay to help them self and then the end up dieing. Daffodil day is celebrated on the  27th of August. What is Daffodil Day? It is an opportunity to raise awareness of cancer in New Zealand. Since 1990, our iconic street appeal has inspired people to come together and support the Cancer Society's work. Our teacher assigned our class 5 choices that we had to chose from there was card with pop out poppy/flower, pin wheel, print out colouring in, paper daffodil or you make daffodils out of an egg carton. KKN,Steps

This morning in Day 2 lockdown i did a whole level of steps it was pretty easy.i did a kiwi kids new artalce becuase i felt like doing one. question of the day, What work have you done today? 

Maths, Reading,Tokyo contract.

did about 10 mins of reading but i had to cut the video because my family walked past and they didnt want to be on my blog so yea. i also did 2 pages of maths because I had my maths book i need to work on getting the questions right and working the question out in a non confusing way! I did a Olmpics contract so here what i did.

Here is my Rocket 3 for the website I did not post it in lockdown because I forgot. I really liked putting all of those things together. we liked doing thing and we want to do more our class loves it because it keeps as busy than broad.here are the slides.

Mrs hall got us into doing rockets and we all loved rockets so we got into doing and makeing rocket and we went from their on we are now at makeing our rockets and sending them up to space just kidding we are going to put air in it and then blast it into the air and see how high it goes

What Is Voki?

Here is my voki click here to see: On Tuesday my teacher Mrs. Hall the best teacher in the world found this thing called voki and she had a look at it and she thought that would be an amazing app to use for my class. This is what voki is voki is about something you do when you have no work or just want to have fun even just work. Eney way our class had to make something on topic that was about aliens and trash and the earth and how the earth needs to be saved but you need to stop. We had to make it say something that related to trash to stop people from being nasty and throwing trash out of the side of the road. So with all our thinking from our brains, we finally got what we were working on for a day and what we did was pretty cool. Thanks, Mrs. Hall.

Fluffy and Wasliy

On Tuesday we had to make a robot that did or did not work.so here's what my robot looks like I made it out of two zebras and tinfoil when my mum saw it she thought it was funny and stupid and not as a robot but I did well my first idea was wrap myself in tinfoil and put a bag over my head but I did not go to plan so I found those and yup you guess it made them a robot I was kind of funny.

Catapult plane thrust

Here is my catapult plane exploring thrust. We used different planes and different rubber bands. We had to try them and we had to put the results. We had to record were our planes where they landed and put where they landed into our sheets. We had to use different planes and see what they were like my planes were weird because you had to pull them back at different lengths and see how far they go measure how far they go and record how far they went. Term Two Goals Of The Week

This is the work that my teacher sent me. That's right if you have seen 2 blog posts back I did the same one that I am doing now. We have three teachers and their names are Mrs. Hall, Miss Moat, Mrs. Mill. My teacher is lovely her name is Mrs. Hall and she is a drama teacher she loves dancing gives us amazing feedback gives us work. Miss MOat is a teacher that likes to be arty loves painting and loves looking back into the old schools when the world war one and two happened and loves playing games. Mrs. Mill is a teacher that loves mindfulness teaching us about the brain. What happens when you have an alarm.

Art Challenge

On Tuesday Miss Moat our teacher gave us a challenge to do. You are probably wondering what I am talking about. That challenge was finding things in our garden and making it into an artwork of our own was enjoyable and really fun. This is what I made I got some random stuff and made anything I could of it. This is what I made the photo the light was terrible and the camera was all right but in the wrong kind of position. The materials that I used and got: leaves, flowers, feijoas, dead flax, lemon, aloe vera. I felt arty because it was the first time in forever that we were doing art and art is awesome. The most challenging part was when you have to try and think of something and if you have too much stuff on your mind it can't think. Then do mindfulness. Andy 

Term Two Goals Of The Week

This is what our hole class does to improve our writing and learning. We have been at home working from home. This is my own goal of the week because at the end of the term it changes over two-term two goals but I made my own. The first quote is about being nice taking pride in our learning sometimes we need help and sometimes people don't need help if you want help you have to ask for it.
