Daffodil Day

Day 9 of lockdown, Daffodil Day it is a day where we remember people that have past away from Cancer and when we fundfaise for people who have cancer and cant afford the money and treatment that they need, heres a famos quote that Daffodil day has set us, Cancer Will Never Stop, So We Won't. I think thats a pretty amazing quote. Daffodil day is a day where people where flowers yellow flowers so if they have one on they have paid $2 for one and thats helps one bit for people, even cents,paper money it helps for the people who can't pay to help them self and then the end up dieing. Daffodil day is celebrated on the  27th of August. What is Daffodil Day? It is an opportunity to raise awareness of cancer in New Zealand. Since 1990, our iconic street appeal has inspired people to come together and support the Cancer Society's work. Our teacher assigned our class 5 choices that we had to chose from there was card with pop out poppy/flower, pin wheel, print out colouring in, paper daffodil or you make daffodils out of an egg carton.
